THE LAB.SESSIONS #13 - FREDERICA VIEIRA CAMPOS & THE CABINET OF DR. CALIGARI

VENUE

THE LAB.YRINTH SPACE

DATE

In a disruptive experiment, Frederica Vieira Campos shared her musical and artistic practice with THE LAB.YRINTH community.

Starting with a damaged mixing desk that was donated to her, Frederica Vieira Campos deconstructs the sound of the electric harp and takes the audience on a journey where sound becomes physical and travels through the body.

Frederica Vieira Campos is a harpist/multidisciplinary artist from Porto, with a degree in harp from the Royal College of Music in London and currently pursuing a Master's degree in Sound Arts and Technologies at ESMAE Porto. In addition to classical music and orchestral work, Frederica explores improvisation and experimental music, integrating harp and electronics into multidisciplinary collaborations and practices, including dance, video and community art. She has performed in venues such as Teatro Municipal do Porto, Casa da Música, Passos Manuel, Mala Voadora, Maus Hábitos and Socorro (Porto); Teatro São Luiz and Carpintarias de São Lázaro (Lisbon); 12 Star Gallery (London); Maison du Portugal (Paris); Festspielhaus (Dresden).
