Beatriz Sarmento, multidisciplinary artist, Porto, Portugal, 1999. Graduated in Fine Arts - Multimedia at FBAUP, with a main interest in video performance, curating and collaborative projects. Currently studying for a Master's Degree in Creative Industries Management at EA - UCP. Studied dance for 12 years at the Ginasiano Dance School. At the Soares dos Reis Art School, she specialises in Plastic Realisation of the Show. Co-Artistic Director of Plataforma Súbito and coordinator of the Órbita Programme. In 2019, she created the duo Coletivo SEM-FIM with Yasmine Moradalizadeh, producing the sessions ‘Conversas sobre Performance’ at FBAUP in 2020. She has been exhibiting collectively since 2017, notably in ‘Traços do Coletivo’ (2023, Coletivo SEM-FIM, @Galeria do Sol); ‘MACE -15 anos’ (2022, Coletivo SEM-FIM, @Biblioteca Municipal de Elvas); “Sobre o céu não sabemos nada” (2022, Paralaxe Project, @Prof. Manuel de Barros Astronomical Observatory); “Pontas Duplas/Slip Ends” (2021, SEM-FIM Collective, @Galeria Presença); “Pés ao lado da cabeça” (2021, with Gonçalo Araújo, @Galeria do Sol); “House OF” (2020, @BoCA Bienal).
